Ability to Set Invoice Date When Creating Sales Order (EBS-12364)
What's new
Sales Desk users can now set an invoice date directly when creating a sales order. This ensures the invoice reflects the correct date immediately — consistent with existing functionality in Nexstep.
Why it matters
Previously, it was not possible to specify an invoice date at order creation time in Sales Desk. Users had to handle this separately, which could lead to incorrect invoice dates.
How it works
A new date field ("Invoice Date" / Faktura dato) is available on the sales order creation screen.
Both past and future dates are accepted.
The only validation applied is that the date must exist (e.g., 29.02.2026 on a non-leap year will be rejected).
"Freeze mode" in Kafka (EBS-14865)
What's new
The system has been improved to handle increased traffic to the Kafka infrastructure. This reduces the risk of the Kafka Replicator and Order Service becoming overloaded and failing under high load.
Why it matters
During periods of high traffic, the Kafka Replicator and Order Service could break down, disrupting order processing. This improvement makes the system more robust and stable under such conditions.
Notes
This is a technical improvement to the backend infrastructure and requires no action from users.
Fix: Search and Select Functionality for Department and Warehouse Fields in New Sales Order (EBS-15280)
What's fixed
An issue preventing users from selecting values from the dropdown in the "Department" and "Warehouse" fields when creating a new sales order has been resolved. Clicking a search result now works as expected.
The problem
When searching in the department or warehouse fields and clicking a result in the dropdown, the selection was not registered and the field remained empty.
After the fix
Search and selection in these fields now works correctly — the selected value is populated in the field after clicking.
