Order number field in Picking app now fully visible (EBS-15357)

EG Fabri PDA
Feature

The input field for entering order numbers in the Picking app has been enlarged so it displays the full number instead of only showing two digits. This makes it easier to verify and enter order numbers accurately while picking.

Field visibility fixed during picking on iOS devices (EBS-15358)

EG Fabri PDA
Improvement

When selecting an article during picking on iOS devices, the "number of pieces" field is now immediately visible. Previously, the keypad would cover this field, and it would only appear after entering the first digit. The field now displays correctly from the start, making it easier to enter quantities.

Delivery name removed from delivery orders list (EBS-16030)

EG Fabri PDA
Improvement

When viewing delivery orders in PDA, previously we showed delivery name, we do not do this anymore.

Picking orders can now be parked using the common parking service (EBS-16036)

EG Fabri PDA
Feature

Previously, parking of picking orders was only supported through ERP-native functionality, which meant users on ERPs without built-in parking support had no way to park an active picking order.

Picking orders can now be parked, listed, and unparked using the same common parking service already used by other modules in Fabri PDA. The picking order menu has been extended with park and unpark options, and parked picking orders can be resumed from the same menu. Parking by warehouse is also supported, in addition to the existing warehouse-and-user key.

External reference number can now be entered directly in the confirmation dialog on purchase order reception (EBS-16038)

EG Fabri PDA
Feature

When the external reference field is configured as required on purchase order reception, users previously had to navigate back to the details section to fill it in after receiving a validation warning at the Continue step.

The flow has been improved so that if the external reference is missing when the user proceeds, a dialog now appears with an input field allowing the number to be entered immediately — without having to expand the details section and click Continue again.

Payex payment is now available directly in the Crossdock module (EBS-12208)

EG Fabri PDA
Feature

Previously, parcels in the Crossdock module could only be handed out if the associated order had already been paid. If payment was required, users had to leave the Crossdock module entirely to process the payment elsewhere before returning to complete the handout.

Payex is now available as a payment option directly within the Crossdock workflow. When an order must be paid before parcels can be handed out, users are presented with a "Pay now" option. Selecting it opens the Payex payment screen — with the customer's phone number pre-filled if available — and upon successful payment, the user is returned to the Crossdock module with the previously selected parcels still selected and ready to hand out.

Environmental requirement labels now shown on PDA projects (EBS-12324)

EG Fabri PDA
Feature

When browsing projects in PDA, projects that have environmental requirements are now clearly labeled, and a notification is displayed after selecting one. This helps you stay informed about environmental restrictions before adding articles to an order.

Environmental compliance checks for articles on project sales (EBS-12333)

EG Fabri PDA
Feature

When selling articles linked to a project, you will now be notified with a warning or blocked from completing the sale if the articles do not meet the project's environmental requirements. This helps ensure that only approved, environmentally compliant products are sold for each project.

Articles blocked by project environmental requirements in Sales app (EBS-12334)

EG Fabri PDA
Feature

When a project with environmental requirements is assigned to a sale, any articles that do not meet those requirements are now automatically flagged and blocked from being sold. This ensures compliance with project-level sustainability rules and prevents users from accidentally selling non-compliant products.

Camera icon added for scanning in Purchase Orders (EBS-13744)

EG Fabri PDA
Feature

A camera icon has been added in Purchase Orders on your handheld device. This allows you to easily scan barcodes using your device's camera, making it simpler to register items when processing purchase orders.

Camera icon added for scanning in Labels (EBS-13745)

EG Fabri PDA
Feature

A camera icon has been added in the Labels functionality on your handheld device. This allows you to scan barcodes using your device's camera when working with labels.

Camera icon added for barcode scanning on Android and iPhone (EBS-14003)

EG Fabri PDA
Feature

A camera icon has been added for barcode scanning on Android and iPhone devices. Since these devices don't have built-in barcode scanners, you can now use the camera icon to scan barcodes with your device's camera.

Default username pre-filled in inventory count description field (EBS-14849)

EG Fabri PDA
Feature

When creating an inventory count, the description field will now automatically be pre-filled with your username. This saves time and makes it easier to track who initiated each count.

Goods Receipt: Accumulate Quantity (EBS-14941)

EG Fabri PDA
New feature

A new "Accumulate quantity" toggle has been added in purchase order reception details.

When enabled, the quantity input field resets to 0 on re-entry, and any new value entered is added on top of the previously registered quantity. This makes it easy to receive goods in multiple rounds without having to manually calculate and enter the total.

Example: You first receive 10 pcs of item A, then later find 6 more. With accumulation enabled, simply enter 6 and the total registered quantity becomes 16.

When the toggle is off, the field works as before — the full received quantity must be entered each time.

Biometric login now available on mobile devices (EBS-15178)

EG Fabri PDA
Feature

You can now use FaceID or fingerprint authentication to log in to the Fabri PDA application on both Android and iOS devices. This provides a faster and more convenient way to securely access the app without needing to enter your password each time.

Certain device-dependent features can now be hidden on mobile devices without an integrated scanner (EBS-15315)

EG Fabri PDA
Feature

Fabri PDA is used on both dedicated handheld terminals with integrated barcode scanners and regular mobile phones without one. Previously, all menu options were visible regardless of device type, even if they required a scanner to be useful.

A new configuration option has been introduced that allows scanner-dependent features to be hidden automatically when the app is accessed on a device without an integrated scanner. Each main menu function can be individually controlled using a backend property.

The default value is false, meaning existing behaviour is unchanged unless the property is explicitly set. This applies to all main menu options in PDA6K.

📌Requirements

Needs configuration. Contact EG representative and inform which features should be hidden while using mobile devices with no integrated scanner.

Unnecessary pagination buttons removed in article search (EBS-2698)

EG Fabri PDA
Improvement

When searching for articles in Sales on your handheld device, pagination arrows (previous/next page buttons) are no longer displayed when all results fit on a single page. Previously, these buttons would appear even with limited search results, causing confusion when clicked.

Error when handing out parcel (EBS-12727)

EG Fabri PDA
Improvement

Fixed an issue where sometimes an error occurred when handing out parcels.

Alternate barcode scans now accumulate quantity correctly in Return mode (EBS-14704)

EG Fabri PDA
Improvement

When scanning the same item multiple times using alternate barcodes in Return mode, each scan was previously added as a separate line in the cart instead of incrementing the quantity on the existing line. This has been fixed — scanning alternate barcodes in Return mode now accumulates quantity in the same way as in Sale mode.

Location validation added during inventory counting item registration (EBS-14845)

EG Fabri PDA
Improvement

When scanning items during inventory counting, the system now prevents registering an item if no location has been selected. This ensures all scanned items are correctly assigned to a location, reducing data entry errors.

Stock quantities now displayed in Inventory Counting (EBS-14847)

EG Fabri PDA
Improvement

When selecting locations in Inventory Counting, you can now see which locations have stock and the current stock quantity for each location. This makes it easier to identify and prioritize locations during inventory counts.

Sales app layout stays stable when adding customer references (EBS-15260)

EG Fabri PDA
Improvement

When entering a customer reference or requisition in the sales app, the fields no longer disappear or shift unexpectedly. This makes the process smoother and easier to complete without needing to scroll around to find missing fields.

Scrolling now works for full mobile application list (EBS-15544)

EG Fabri PDA
Improvement

You can now scroll through the entire list of applications on the mobile device, ensuring all available entries are visible and accessible. Previously, scrolling would stop partway through the list, preventing access to some applications.

Return app layout stays stable when adding customer references (EBS-15643)

EG Fabri PDA
Improvement

When entering a customer reference or requisition in the return app, the fields no longer disappear or shift unexpectedly. This makes the process smoother and easier to complete without needing to scroll around to find missing fields.

Automatic parcel selection when scanning in Crossdock (EBS-15731)

EG Fabri PDA
Improvement

Scanning parcels with the new barcode labels in Crossdock now automatically selects the scanned parcel on your handheld device. This makes the scanning experience faster and more reliable.

App no longer redirects to wrong screen after login on iOS (EBS-15740)

EG Fabri PDA
Improvement

The app previously would sometimes display an incorrect screen after logging in on iOS devices. This has been corrected so that you are now taken directly to the expected screen after login, ensuring a smoother experience.

Order number field enlarged in Reception app on iOS (EBS-16045)

EG Fabri PDA
Improvement

The order number field on the Reception screen has been expanded so that order numbers are fully visible and easier to read. This makes it quicker to identify and verify orders during the reception process.

Barcode scan quantity accumulation restored on purchase order reception (EBS-16188)

EG Fabri PDA
Improvement

A regression had caused barcode scanning during purchase order reception to stop accumulating quantity correctly. Scanning the same barcode multiple times on the article detail screen would not increment the received quantity as expected. This has been resolved — repeated barcode scans now accumulate quantity on the purchase order reception as intended.
